Jen Sanborn
About Jen
Jen earned her BFA from the University of Arizona, where she studied photography, painting and drawing under artists Bruce McGrew, Chuck Hitner, Judith Golden and Lynne Schroeder. Jen’s work is primarily large scale oil paintings of life in western Colorado. A few small bird paintings fly out from time to time as well. As a dairy and egg farmer, her inspiration comes from simple moments spent outside working. Light, Life and Grace catch her eye and become her paintings.
Whether painting from her own imagery or for a commission, Jen’s work connects the viewer to their own simple yet profound love of the natural world.
Studio tours and commissions are welcome.
